The time and skills volunteers provide are critical to our mission of creating an educational, beautiful space for our community to enjoy.
Volunteers with Plantmosphere usually help out in the gardens. This may look like weeding, spreading mulch, installing new gardens or rejuvenating old ones. Other professional skills are much appreciated like educators, expert consultants, fundraising, marketing and more
We host volunteer event days. Each event will begin with a learning session about gardening, herbs, sustainability or another topic. Afterwards we’ll all head to the gardens and get to work! There are a few ways to volunteer at Plantmosphere.
- You can become an ongoing volunteer; meaning you can come during designated times to help with various grounds maintenance projects.
- Or you can come help up at one of our scheduled events such as plantings, plant sales, mulching projects, art projects ect. Keep a lookout for our upcoming events on Facebook or Volunteermatch! Volunteermatch events are listed at the bottom of the page.
- Expert consultants are also much appreciated
- We are currently looking for new board members. If you are interested, please complete the form here and we will reach out to you
Volunteer Requirements
- To start volunteering please fill out the volunteer interest form here.
- On the day you volunteer we ask that you please print, sign, and bring your volunteer waiver. You can also email the waiver to [email protected] once it's completed.
- Please note: If you are under 18 years of age a parent or guardian must also sign the waiver for you to attend.
- Attend a volunteer orientation- scheduled between staff and volunteer upon availability on the 3rd Thursday and Saturday of every month
- Select the dates you'd like to volunteer on our schedule (see button below)
